Hey there! I’m Muzaffar Auhammud, and this is my blog where I share my thoughts and experiences as a person, as a student, as a software developer, and as a Linux & Windows user. The purpose of this blog is to document my findings so that they can be helpful to others, and also for me to be able to get back to them later on.
I’m currently a sophomore, majoring in BSc (Hons) Computer Science at the University of Mauritius. I have been programming since I was 13 years old (way back since 2009). Most of what I learnt about programming has been self-taught.
I am experienced in C# and the .Net environment, and proficient in C and C++. I’m also at ease with the LAMP stack, and I’m quite familiar with Bash and Java.
My favorite programming language so far has been C#. I am passionate about what I do, and I thoroughly enjoy contributing to open-source projects during my free time. Some of my notable contributions can be found in httperf and Socat.
Ubuntu 18.04 is my daily Operating System, though I occasionally resort to Windows for stuffs like Photoshop and games. My primary development machine is a Dell XPS 13 9360 whose speed, portability, and excellent battery life I really appreciate when I’m on the move.
When not doing computer related stuffs, I can be seen playing badminton, watching movies, and reading about the latest discoveries and breakthroughs in medicine, physics, astronomy, cosmology, and quantum computing.
